Notification No. 53/2006-Customs (N.T.)

S.O. (E). – In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), New Customs House, New Delhi, and authorises him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the –

1. Commissioner of Customs (Import), Nhava Sheva;

2. Commissioner of Customs (Import), New Custom House, Mumbai;

3. Commissioner of Customs (ICD), Tughlakabad, New Delhi;

4. Commissioner of Customs (Import & General), New Custom House,    New Delhi;

5. Commissioner of Customs (CFS Mulund & General), New Custom  House, Mumbai;

6. Commissioner of Customs (Sea Port), Custom House, Kolkata;

7. Commissioner of Customs (Air Cargo), Kolkata;

8. Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Cochin; and

9. Commissioner of Central Excise, NOIDA.

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Baba Leather Impex Pvt Ltd  and others issued, vide, F.No. DRI/23/5/2005/DZU, dated 29th November, 2005 by the Additional Director General, Delhi Zonal Unit, B-4, Paryavaran Bhawan, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
