CATS is providing 24X7 free ambulance service in Delhi through a single toll free number 102. However, it has come to notice that some Private Ambulance Drivers/ Service providers are charging exorbitant rate(s) in Delhi during the COVID 19 Pandemic for transporting patients which is a matter of serious concern.
It has therefore been decided by the competent authority that Maximum rates for Private PTA (Patient Transport Ambulance), BLS (Basic Life Support Ambulance) and ALS (Advanced Life support Ambulance) shall be capped in Delhi as under:

| 3. | ALS (Advanced Life support Ambulance) including charges of Doctor. | 4000 per call upto 10 Kms and Rs. 100 per extra Kms above 10 Kms. |
Maximum rates in Rs. (All inclusive, including Oxygen, all ambulance equipment as per CRA guidelines, PPE Kit, gloves, mask, shield, sanitization, driver, EMT, doctoretc.) 1500 per call upto 10 Kms and Rs. 100 per extra Kms above 10 Kms. 2000 per call upto 10 Kms and Rs. 100 per extra Kms above 10 Kms. 4000 per call upto 10 Kms and Rs. 100 per extra Kms above 10 Kms.
If any instance of charging rates higherthan the aforesaid maximum comes tothe notice,by any private Ambulance driver/service provider/operator/owner,strict action as per applicable laws shall be taken which may include :
1) Cancellation of the driving license of ambulance driver.
2) Cancellation of the registration certificate of ambulance.
3) Impounding of the vehicle/Ambulance.
This issues with the prior approval of Hon Dy. Chief Minister, Delhi.
