Advocate B. S. K. Ra0 (Appellant) has filed an RTI Application with CBDT and asked for the following details / information U/s 6(1) of RTI Act:-
[a] Copies of all Records Received/Issued for Revamping the Website of Income-Tax Deptt. that relates to Tax Policy & Legislation Division of CBDT in particular (Because to implement the action in question amendment in statute is required to establish due compliance).
[b] Name, Designation & Address of person behind the action to revamp the Indian Income-Tax Website.
[c] What was Lacking in old website of Indian Income-Tax Deptt. & reasons for revamping.
[d] Copies of the Orders/Directions issued by Finance Ministry/ Deptt. of Revenue/CBDT in the above matter.
[e] Copies of the Agreements entered into with the parties concerned & directions given.
[f] Copies of the Website Layout Plan provided to out sourcing agency, name & designation of person who approved the same on affixing signature in the Finance Ministry.
[g] Copies of the Website Layout Plan provided by out sourcing agency before finalisation.
[h] Copies of the Direction/Orders issued by your good office in particular, in the above matter.
[i.] Copies of Directions issued by Legislative & Computerisation Deptt. of CBDT, in the above matter.
[j] Copies of all Records Created/Received/Issued for Revamping the Website of Income-Tax Deptt.
In response to the same CBDT has provided answer to only the question [a] and [b] so appellant has filed an appeal with Central Information Commission (CIC) and CIC has vide its order File No.CIC/RM/A/2013/001119 dated -18.02.2014 asked CBDT to provide the appellant the remaining details asked by the Appellant.
We are enclosing herewith COPY of RTI Application made by the Appellant and also the Copy of CIC Order dated 18.02.2014.
