Cattles in U.P. to be purchased only after giving proper ID proof

Now, cattles in Uttar Pradesh will only be purchased after giving proper ID proof to the seller. It will be the duty of seller to maintain the records of the cattles sold, to whom it was sold and his ID proof. Gram Pradhan will be keep details of cattles’ dead & thereafter the same will be recorded by the police. This has been done to stop illegal trading in cattles. To enhance the effectiveness of this step, even photos of animals have to be attached along with ID proof.
