Provision of CSR to be in Companies Bill: Khurshid

Salman Khurshid, Minister of Corporate Affairs has said that there will be provision of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the Companies Bill.

In an interview to media, Khurshid said that CSR provision in the Bill will be guiding in nature.

Explaining the norms, Khurshid said that CSR should develop credit models. In an earlier provision, MCA has made CSR mandatory for public companies.
