In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section by section (1) of section 621 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) and in suppression of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) notification number GSR 69 (E) dated the 15th February, 1995, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such suppression, the Central Government hereby authorise the following officers of the Securities and Exchange Board of India established under the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) for the purposes of that sub-section in respect of offences punishable under sub-section (3) of section 56, sub section (1) of section 59, section 63, section 68, sub-sections (2) and (2B) of section 73, sub-section (2) of section 113 and section 207

R. 94 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 621 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) and in supersession of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) notifica­tion number G. S.
