Dear Professional Colleagues,
The pandemic while having disrupted the economic activities has impacted the economic growth of nations globally. But as the famous axiom goes, it has been a hard struggle but I can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. With the onset of various encouraging initiatives on the part of Government of India, especially the economic stimulus packages being rolled out under the garb of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, it is expected that the same shall be playing a pivotal role in the metamorphosis of financial fortunes of the nation.
Apart from this, there have been various regulatory measures that have been initiated by the Government as well as regulatory bodies in strengthening the Indian economy while keeping the goal of promoting ease of doing business in sight. With the aim of creating awareness pertaining to various regulatory updates triggered by various regulations, policies, approaches etc. of the Government or regulatory bodies in the sphere of Company Law, Sec
urities Law, Tax Laws and other Economic and Business Laws, the Institute initiated the rolling out of a unique publication under the aegis of ‘Covid-19 Regulatory Updates’.
The Institute has so far brought out four issues and now its fifth issue is all set to witness the light of the day. I extend my appreciation towards the Directorate of Academics for its sincere and unique endeavor of making its stakeholders conversant with recent Covid-19 regulatory updates.
