The ICAI constantly endeavors to use technology to provide an ease of service delivery experience to our stakeholders. In yet another path-breaking initiative for promoting e-governance, ICAI has successfully launched the Digi-Locker facility for its members and students during the recently concluded Virtual International Conference.

The ICAI Digi-Locker facility is being provided by the Government of India through its Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, by providing an On-Line Cloud service for keeping all important documents gradually like, Certificate of passing, mark sheets, Membership Certificates, Certificates of Practice and Members’ ID cards in a safe and secured manner.  This Digi-Locker aims at ‘Digital Empowerment’ of our members and students by providing on-line access to authentic digital documents which are legally at par with originals to their digital document wallet.

The Users need to possess an Aadhaar Number to use Digi-Locker. For sign-up, the Aadhaar number and the one-time password sent to the Aadhaar-registered mobile number, need to be entered.

To begin with this initiative, we have hosted the data related to Identity Cards of our members and other certificates would also be available in Digi-Locker, in a phased manner, in due course of time.

This facility can now be availed by our members at just a click of a mouse, http://digilocker.gov.in by following a specified procedure.
