Farmhouses being built on a 20 acre plot near Sohna are likely to be demolished in a week as the builder started construction without any permission from the Authority.

DTCP team visited the site in Bhogpur village and found out that the builder have already laid a network of internal roads, erected electric poles and constructed boundary walls.

DTCP Officials said the developer who was sent a notice, was planning to construct farmhouses to sell. Name of this project is NATURE VALLEY.

Director of DTCP, directed the enforcement team to visit the concerned site on Saturday after the developer failed to give  a satisfactory reply to the SHOWCAUSE NOTICE sent to him. After the inspection, it was decided that the construction site would be demolished in 1  week.

Mr. RS Batth, the District Town Planner  said that the DTCP Team found that builder had erected electricity poles but they were yet to be connected with cables.

Building farmhouses without permission is like  developing illegal colonies. Mr. Batth  said the department was collecting details about the developer and the department will recommend filing of a FIR against the developer.

He further added that Even if the farmhouses have been sold by the builders, the department will get details from the concerned authorities  and lodge a FIR against those who are found guilty.

Another Illegal colony being developed on a 3 acre plot in Sohna was demolished by the Enforcement team of DTCP on last Sunday. 17 Years ago, one of the landowners had filed a complaint against the builder and had been pursuing the case since then.

In 2017, the complainant approached the divisional commissioner and divisional commissioner directed the DTCP to take action in the matter. On Sunday, the DTCP Enforcement Team along with 50 Policemen and 2 earthmovers demolished more than 20 structures and boundary walls to  clear the occupied land.
