IMD/DF/4/2011, DATED 9-3-2011- The upfront commission to distributors will be paid by the investor directly to the distributor, based on his assessment of various factors including the service rendered by the distributor.1.3 Exit load or CDSC charged to the Investor, a maximum of 1 per cent of the redemption proceeds shall be maintained in a separate account which can be used by the AMC to pay commissions to the distributor and to take care of other marketing and selling expenses. Any balance shall be credited to the scheme immediately.
Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has not noticed any irregularity in the recent fall in stocks markets, the government today informed the Rajya Sabha. The benchmark Sensex has fallen by about 2,500 points between November, 2010 and February this year, Minister of State for Finance Namo Narain Meena said during Question Hour.

This is in continuation of SEBI Circular No. SEBI/DNPD/Cir- 46/2009 dated August 28, 2009 regarding Exchange Traded Interest Rate Futures. 2. It has now been decided to permit introduction of futures on 91-day Government of India Treasury-Bill (T- Bill) on currency derivatives segment of Stock Exchanges. Eligible Stock Exchanges may do so after obtaining prior approval from SEBI.
Foreign entities will now be able to invest directly in mutual funds, which will increase the fund flow into capital markets. Market Regulator SEBI today imposed a penalty of Rs 25 lakh for alleged violation of various norms pertaining to debenture trustee. The Sebi order said that Central Bank of India functioned as debenture trustee for IL&FS even when there was loan outstanding. The loan was given by the Central Bank of India.
Sectoral regulator Sebi on Friday barred six market intermediaries from trading in securities for allegedly carrying out manipulations in various IPO issues and also slapped a penalty of Rs 36.09 crore. “Roopalben N Panchal, Devangi Panchal, Dipak Jashvantlal Panchal, Hina Bhargav Panchal, Bhargav Ranchhodlal Panchal and Arjav Nareshbhai Panchal shall not buy, sell or deal in the securities…for three months,” the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said in its final order.
