Notification No. 44 (RE-2010)/2009-2014 – Central Government hereby makes, with immediate effect, the following amendment in Notification No. 27(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 28.02.2011 read with Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007 . In notification number 33(RE 2007) 2004-09 dated 8.10.2007, a new sub para was added on 28.2.2011 by notification number 27 (RE-2010)/2009-2014. The contents of this sub para 2.11 is now substituted to read as under: 2.11 The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 2,50,000 MT of wheat to Afghanistan through Food Corporation of India.
That are in the nature of machine and equipments and are covered under Chapter 84 of ITC(HS), cannot be classified under Chapter 87 of ITC(HS). Therefore, Import Licensing Note No. 1 and 2 of Chapter 87 of ITC(HS) are not applicable to goods covered under Chapter 84 of ITC(HS).
In Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007, sub para 2.11 was added on 28.02.2011 vide Notification No. 27(RE-2010)/2009-14. Now another sub-para 2.12 is added as under: “2.12 The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat products shall not be applicable to export of 32,094.70 MT of wheat flour to Maldives through M/s. MMTC Ltd.”
Policy Circular No. 29(RE-2010)/2009-14 – All applications for grant of registration certificate shall be submitted to the RA, Guwahati alongwith the following documents: (i) Copy of Export Contract alongwith, (a) A copy of irrevocable Letter of Credit(LC) duly authenticated by an Indian Bank, or (b) FIRC from Bank showing receipt of remittance from the concerned foreign buyer as proof of having received 100% Advance Payment or a minimum of 25% Advance Payment and balance Cash Against Delivery(CAD),
EOUs are eligible for Chapter 3 benefits without “Declaration of Intent” on shipping bills for the period 1.4.2008 till 31.12.2010. EOU shipping bills are not treated as “free shipping bills”. Hence, DGFT clarification dated 4.3.2010 is withdrawn.

NOTIFICATION No. 42 (RE-2010)/2009-2014- This notification is being issued to amend Para 2.1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy in order to harmonise provisions of the Policy with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1929 by which additional sanctions have been imposed on Iran related to its nuclear and missile development programme.
Minimum Export Price (MEP) of onions other than Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram onions will be US$ 170 per Metric Ton F.O.B. It was US$ 225 per Metric Ton as notified on 23.03.2011. There shall be no change in the MEP of Bangalore Rose Onion and Krishnapuram onion which continues to be USD 600 per Metric Ton F.O.B.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the Central Government amends Notification No. 14(RE-2010) dated 22.12.2010 relating to export of Cotton Yarn with effect from 01.04.2011.
Notification No. 39(RE-2010)/2009-2014- The sale of vehicles imported by Foreign Diplomats and Other Privileged Persons is now permitted to other non privileged persons also in the manner specified in Foreign Privileged Persons (Regulation of Customs Privileges) Rules, 1957, as amended.
