Government of India has reviewed the existing procedure of registration and approval of global manufacturers for importing oxygen cylinders and cryogenic tankers/ containers by Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization (PESO). In view of the COVID pandemic, PESO shall not carry out physical inspection of global manufacturers’ production facilities before grant of such registration and approval.

The IASB, before issuing the new/amendments to IFRS Standards, issues consultative documents (such as Discussion Paper (DP), Exposure Draft (ED) etc) seeking public comments from across the globe.
This is a petition seeking various reliefs in terms of extensions for filing compliances under various Acts, including the Income Tax Act, 1961, the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the Employees Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, the Employees State Insurance Act, 1948 and other Labour Laws, owing to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
