"Dr. Dilip V. Satbhai is the senior partner of Messrs D. V. Satbhai & Co. Chartered Accountants having registered office located at Karve Road, Pune. The senior partner of the firm was the Chairman,Vice-chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of the Pune Branch of the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for various years. He was also a co-opted member on various committees of Central and Western India Regional Council of The institute of chartered accountants of India New Delhi in the past for several years, New Delhi and Mumbai. The senior partner who is the mentor of the firm, holds masters degree in Law, which he had passed out with flying colours by ranking First in the order of merit in University of Pune. He has been conferred with doctorate degree in law after successfully completing Ph.D degree in Law in a subject titled ‘Freedom of speech and expression and media trial, a case for judicial activism’. He was also in the merit list in both Intermediate and Final examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Winner of the National Merit Scholarship for several years, he has won prestigious Ghamandi Prize for acquiring the knowledge in the field of Law. He is the winner of the special prize from Nehru Memorial Fund New Delhi for professional excellence. He has been conferred with a special Memento for recognition of professional services at the hands of Shri Sharad Pawar, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and former Union Agriculture Minister, Government of India. Mayor of Pune recently has awarded him special memento for recognition of his services in the education field.
Job Experience
He is the Hon. Treasurer of International Leprosy Union and allied health alliance, (The NGO formed to eliminate, if possible to eradicate leprosy, spread into the individuals, and also help those who are affected by leprosy and help them to regain their lost dignity, recognize their human rights, and bring them back into the mainstream of society) and Hon. Treasurer of CASP (This NGO is a premier national organization committed to the sustainable development and strengthening of child, family and community. It also works towards networking, strengthening alliances and building partnerships with national and international organizations with mutually compatible objectives so as to accomplish its mission and at recent nurturing over 12000 children) etc. He is the founder and life time Chairman of Usha Lele Charitable Trust and also P. He has been considered as Sound Investment Consultant in Maharashtra. He has master minded almost all laws, as he was visiting part time faculty member and Head of the department for Auditing and taxation department for well over twenty five years with BMCC, and ILS Law College in Pune, which are the pioneer colleges in their respective fields in Pune. He has delivered many lectures and presented many papers in seminars and conferences on State and National level and also delivered talks on All India Radio. He has a rich experience of performing IS (Information Systems) audits as he is a good computer programmer and SSI has awarded him a certificate of excellence and was declared successful in DISA (icai) by ICAI. He has also cleared another post qualification course in ‘Risk Management’ to qualify as DIRM (icai) consultant useful for bank audits. He was the first chartered accountant in Pune to acquire such knowledge and qualification.
