Subject: Launch of facility to check status of Importer Exporter Code (IEC) application made to DGFT
Importer Exporter Code (IEC) is applied/ modified through online portal for IEC application. It has come to notice of DGFT that in some cases even after issuance of IEC by DGFT, the IEC data though transmitted by DGFT to ICEGATE (Customs) is not accepted by ICEGATE (Customs) due to some transmission errors. As a result, the IEC holder is unable to export/ import using this IEC.
Therefore, for early detection of such cases and timely resolution of such cases, a facility has been created to check the current status of IEC application and status of IEC transmission to ICEGATE. The status query is based on PAN used in IEC application made to DGFT. The facility to check status of Import Export Code(IEC) application can be accessed from DGFT website using Online Application → IEC → Know your IEC Status or directly from http://164.100.128.145:8100/IecStatusReport/ link.
PAN Number and first three letters of Firm Name can be entered to check the status. Based on the status displayed, action to be taken as mentioned below

| 1 | Application has been received in the DGFT | Wait for 4 days for processing by RA |
| 2 | IEC application rejected | Please re-submit the application after complying with the deficiencies raised by the RA. There will be no need to pay the fee again. |
| 3 | IEC transmitted to ICEGATE, yet to be accepted by ICEGATE | Wait for 3 days for IEC to be successfully accepted by ICEGATE |
| 4 | IEC successfully registered at DGFT and accepted by ICEGATE | IEC ready for use |
If status at Si no 4 is not indicated, the applicant is requested to check the status of IEC at ICEGATE 3 days after the transmission to ICEGATEat the following link https://www.icegate.gov.in/EnqMod/ and report the problem to Contact@DGFT, if required.
IEC holders may please note that IEC is ready for Import/ Export of goods only after IEC details get successfully registered at DGFT and accepted by ICEGATE(Customs).

I have applied IEC on 09/06/2020 but till now I didn’t receive any confirmation or IEC from DGFT, Please help us to get IEC as early as possible and let us to do further business

I tried to apply IE code for my company and after payment came to know that already applied earlier with one mobile no and email which iam not sure about the mobile no and email. how can i change these into my current email and mobile no without much delay
Application has submitted, required Fee has been paid Online, DGFT has receive the Fee.
When I am checking “Veriyfy Fee” the next window says NO PAYMENTS FOR VERIFICATION EXIST.
In Step 6 “Preview and Print Application”, No File Number Appears on Top Left Side of my Application.
In Step 7, System says “Please attach required documents”.
What more Document system asking to attach, Not able to understand (as required documents are visible in File Preview).

Our Courier partner(DHL) is unable to see our GST number while uploading for bill of entry.
They are requesting us to approach DGFT for linking Our GST to IEC.

Thank you for providing the link to check IEC Application Status. However, on entering the data, I receive an Error code “Error 500”: Resource Unavailable. Kindly provide with a solution for the same. I made my application on 29th October, 2018. My PAN Number is AAACM6118L.
