Sub: Relieving and Joining of Group A Officers -reg.
Vide Order No. 203 of 2014 dated 13th November, 2014, it was communicated that all the officers under orders of transfer be relieved with immediate effect, failing which the officers were to be deemed as relieved w.e.f 14.11.2014.
2. With the due date for deemed relieving (14.11.2014) having already expired, it is hereby directed that all the officers (in all grades of Group A) under transfer be asked to join at their new place of posting immediately.
3. The details of relieving and joining of each officer are required to be updated in CMS at www.irsofficersonline.gov.in by the concerned Pr. CCIT(CCA) / Pr. DGIT (in case of attached Directorate of CBDT) using his/her user-id and password immediately. The compliance report regarding the above shall also be forwarded to the Database Cell through email at dbc.cbdt@incometax.gov.in or thro’ fax at 011-23593359 at the earliest.
4. It is, however, clarified that the above instructions do not apply to the cases where transfer/posting orders have been stayed vide order of CAT and/or any other judicial authority, etc.
5. This is issued with the approval of Member(P &V), CBDT.
