Subject:- Promotion to the grade of Deputy Commissioner on ad-hoc basis –pending ACRs – regarding.

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to say that a Review DPC for promotion from the grade of Assistant Commissioner to the grade of Deputy Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise is being held for the deferred cases of the DPC held on 18.04.2013, 06.06.2013 and 10.06.2013. However, on scrutiny of the ACR dossiers, deficiency in the dossiers of officers as per list enclosed has been observed.

2. It is requested that the relevant non available ACRs of the officers whose names are mentioned in the enclosed list may please be furnished to this office. In case the ACRs of the officers mentioned in the list are not available, then equal number of ACRs of the previous years may please be forwarded. In case any of the missing ACR surfaces after issuance of No Report Certificate, the same should not be taken on record.

3. This may please be accorded ‘Top Priority’ and , the requisite information/documents may please be sent to the Board urgently and positively by 31st March, 2014.
