Public Notice No. 35 (RE-03)/2002-2007, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), makes amendments to the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007. For example, new entries are added for chemicals (Sr. No. A-3266 to A-3272), electronics (Sr. No. B-262), and engineering products (Sr. No. C-1930 to C-1932). Several existing entries have been amended with updated descriptions of imported items and the allowed quantities for various products such as iodine, rubber parts, and metals. Specific corrections to quantities and items listed in the norms are also outlined, along with a few deletions and shifts between categories. The notice aims to streamline and clarify procedures for exporters and importers, ensuring compliance with the updated norms.

Attention is invited to Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007, as amended and Paragraphs 4.9 and 4.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 2002-2007, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2002-2007, as amended from time to time.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/deletions/corrections and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2002-2007, as amended.
3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2002-2007, as amended, amendments/ corrections/ deletion at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure “A” to this Public Notice shall be made.
4. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:-
CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS
After the existing entry at Sr. No.A-3265, new entries at Sr. No. A-3266 to A-3272 shall be added as per Annexure ”B” to this Public Notice.
ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS
After the existing entry at Sr. No.B-261, new entry at Sr. No. B-262 shall be added as per Annexure “C” to this Public Notice.
