    I WANT TO KNOW, IN WHICH CASE, PENALTY FOR NON PAYMENT OF SERVICE TAX CAN BE
    WAIVED OFF BY DEPTT OFFICER.
    SUPPOSE,A FIRM by not knowing the Service Act,has not registered under ST or
    registered late ,when he understand that, his firm is covered under service tax,
    can deptt give relief in PENALTY AND INTEREST ?
    IF so, under which section, he can be benefited? PL> guide me.
