IRDA – Integrated Surveyor Licensing Management System

Circular no. IRDA/Sur/Misc/Cir/126/06/2012, dated 7-6-2012

The Authority is in the process of implementing a module which would enable online submission of applications for enrolment/grant of fresh/ renewal license to Surveyors and Loss Assessors.

In this connection all existing licensed Surveyors and Loss Assessors (Individual and Corporate) and Trainees enrolled with IRDA w.e.f April 2011 are required to provide the following information in the relevant form annexed to this circular, within 15 days:-

1.  Details of PAN/TAN (in case of corporate surveyors)

2.  E-mail ID

For Individual Surveyors’ – personal e-mail id

For Corporate Surveyors: – official e-mail id

It may be noted that the Authority shall be sending a mail to the e-mail ids provided by all licensed Surveyors and Trainees wherein the details of User-id and Password would be communicated to them.

It may be noted that in the absence of the above information the facility to submit applications online for grant of license/enrolment would not be available to the licensed surveyor and trainees.

Further, it may also be noted that for the purpose of identification, submission of copy of following documents has been made mandatory in the proposed online licensing module:

(a)  PAN/TAN

(b)  Ration card/Aadhaar card

(c)  Voter ID

(d)  Service tax Registration no. (in case of corporate surveyors including sole proprietor)

(e)  Passport

(f)  Any other document for the purpose of identification

All Trainees and licensed surveyors who do not have any of the above documents as on date, are required to make necessary arrangements to obtain the same from the concerned authority.

The authority is making necessary arrangements to provide required training to all users. Circular giving information about the same shall be issued shortly.
