Notification No. 36/2001-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue), No. 17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2001, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such amendment, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, –

(i) S.Nos 44 and 45 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;

(ii) for S.No.46 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

 (iii) against S. No 69, in column (4), for the figures “5%”, the figures “10%” shall be substituted.

 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2001.
