THE NEWS, OF COURSE, HAS , IN A MANNER OF SPEAKING, ADDED one more feather to the accountancy professionals in our country. IT MUST HAVE GLADDENED THOSE BELIEVING THAT SUCH EVENTS GO TO PROCLAIM THAT, AMONG THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY OF PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS, OUR COUNTRY AS ONE OF ITS CONSTITUENTS HAS COME TO RECEIVE RECOGNITION.

NOT TO BE BLAMED OF THE GRAVEST MISTAKE TO – ‘NOT SEE THE WOOD FOR THE TREES’, > ANY SUCH MISSION, – AS IS SPOKEN OF, BUT REQUIRING TO BE STRESSED – IS THE THRUST ON ITS CONCERN FOR ‘PUBLIC INTEREST’. THAT CAN TRULY BE CLAIMED OR REGARDED, (- WITHOUT OFFENDING ANY OF THE GOVERNING NORMS EXPLICITLY AVOWED OR OTHERWISE STATED, MORE SO OF SELF- CONSCIENCE /CONVICTION, =) TO HAVE DESIRABLY SUCCEEDED, PROVIDED THAT ANY CONTRIBUTION MADE “to the development, adoption and implementation of high-quality international standards and guidance” HAS THE SOLE AIM AND PURPOSE OF, AND IN REALITY HELPS IN, ACCOMPLISHING PROMOTION OF AND ACHIEVING THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF ‘PUBLIC INTEREST’ (I.E.’SOCIAL GOOD’)

    Congratulations Sir,

It is amazing to know that our President has been inducted as member of IFAC that tantamount to international recognition of ICAI while India still falls under list of non-designated countries of CICA and AICPA.

    All the best.
