  1. Dear Sir,
    Is submitting proof of travel necessary for claiming LTA? Does the SuprememCourt ruling in the L&T case still stand? If I take LTA every year, will I be taxed every year for it? Please give me some clarification as my office is saying that whatever we do if we do not give proof of travel we will have to pay tax on LTA claims.

  2. i am senior citizen i am deposit the money on state bank of india (fixed deposir plan 14.10.08 for 3years i am earn interst 17322.00 in three years our banker deduct the tds rs 2124 .pls suggest that is income tax rule ithink this is wrong because as per the tds deduction rule income is more than 10000.00 with in one year but the above interst earn with in three year rs 17322.00.pls advice that the bank is right.
