In the said circular it was also clarified how, when and the date from which the unpaid and unclaimed dividend due for payment prior to and after the amendment of Section 205A and the enactment of Section 205 C by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1999 should be transferred to IEPF.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (3) of rule 19 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 42/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 26th June, 2001
(f) the National Calamity Contingent duty leviable under section 136 of the Finance Act, 2001 (14 of 2001), as amended by Section 169 of the Finance Act, 2003 (32 of 2003) which was amended by Section 3 of the Finance Act, 2004 (13 of 2004)
