In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I) (RE-2000), 1997-2002.
Initially the Exchanges shall introduce European style Index Options which shall be settled in cash. The risk containment measures described hereunder are only for premium style European option contracts.
