In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-07, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II Section 3, Sub Section (ii) vide S.O. No. 349 E dated 31.03.2002, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby make the following corrections in Public Notice No. 68/2002-07 dated 23.6.2004 prescribing the procedure for import of certain items under the Indo-Nepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002.

The description of the export item of entry at Sr.No. 353 amended to read as “Table, kitchen and other household articles made of Stainless Steel with or without handle/lid / anti-skid Rubber gasket irrespective of what material the handle/lid may have been made of” and the value cap of this entry revised to Rs.155/- kg.

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007 and paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I) the Director General of Foreign Trade, hereby makes the following addition/correction/amendment in the book titled “Schedule of DEPB rates.
In case of export of drugs and pharmaceuticals interalia including intermediaries, herbal, ayurvedic, unani and homeopathic medicines; biotech and biological products; diagnostics, surgicals,nutraceuticals, pharma industry related services, collaborative research, contract manufacturing, providing base for clinical trials and consultancy, the RCMC can be obtained from the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council.
Since import of maize (corn) is under State Trading Regime (STR), the allottes of quota i.e. designated agencies in para 1 (b) above for this item shall also be granted an import licence for the allotted quantities as indicated at Sl. No. 21(b) of Customs Notification No. 21/2002 dated 1.3.2002 in terms of para 2.11 of Exim Policy, 2002-2007, if they do not wish to make the imports through Food Corporation of India (FCI).
