Vide Notification No. 16/2011 Central Excise dated 18.07.2011, CBEC had notified new ER-1 and ER-3 Forms. In which it forgotten to mention, Secondary and Higher Education Cess. Now this is made good and Secondary and Higher Education Cess is included in the forms. In ER-1, in the previous form, in Sl. Tariff Values of Edible Oils, Brass Scrap (All Grades) and Poppy Seeds Notified- Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Department of Revenue has issued a Notification No.63/2011-Customs (N.T.) dated August 30, 2011 and thereby notifying tariff values of edible oils, brass scrap (all grades) and Poppy seeds as shown in the table below.
NOTIFICATION NO.62/2011-CUSTOMS (N.T.) Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby determines that the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currency specified in column (2) of each of Schedule I and Schedule II annexed hereto into Indian currency or vice versa shall, with effect from 1st September, 2011 be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof, for the purpose of the said section, relating to imported and export goods.
