Tax paid by me is reflecting in wrong assessment year (A.Y.). I have paid Securities Transaction Tax, Banking Cash Transaction Tax, but it is not reflecting in my Form 26AS.What if the Challan Identification Number (CIN) of the advance/self assessment tax paid in the bank (as given in Part C of Form 26AS) does not match with the CIN in the challan counterfoil available with me?
Date of payment displayed in Form 26AS is different than date mentioned in TDS certificate issued by my deductor/collector. How can I correct it? I have given incorrect PAN to my deductor. What will be the effect in Form 26AS? How can any deductor verify the status of the TDS/TCS returns furnished by him?

One lac, the TDS claim may be accepted without verification.

Such statements are available for online view to the PAN holder, to enable him/her to take timely corrective steps in case of missing gaps. It is thus considered desirable to increase the awareness about the same among all sections of society.
New facility added in My Account allows registered E-filers to View the Tax Credit Statement (Form 26AS) to verify if the tax payments made by you or TDS deducted from salary or interest etc are correctly reported to the Department. This is crucial to ensure that you receive complete and accurate tax credit for tax payments and TDS reported by you in the I-T return. Please immediately contact the bank or deductor in case of any discrepancy or missing entries.
With a new initiative, NSDL enhances Form 26AS viewing facility at internet banking account of PAN holder. For this purpose NSDL has already made the necessary arrangement with all banks under OLTAS. These banks would enable the link for Form 26AS at their Internet Banking pages.
