The phrase “Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 600 per Metric Ton or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time” as appearing in the Column “Nature of Restrictions against Serial Number 44.01 in Notification No 24(RE – 2010)/2009-2014 dated 18.02.2011 is replaced by the phrase “Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 450 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time.
Supply of goods will be eligible for refund of terminal excise duty in terms of para 8.3 (c) of FTP, provided recipient of goods does not avail CENVAT credit/rebate on such goods. Similarly, supplies will be eligible for deemed export drawback in terms of para 8.3 (b) of FTP on Central Excise paid on inputs/components, provided CENVAT credit facility/rebate has not been availed by applicant. Such supplies will however be eligible for deemed export drawback on customs duty paid on inputs/components.
This declaration has to be submitted to the customs at the time of export. A copy of declaration has to be deposited (and receipt obtained) with the Regional Authority (concerned Joint DGFT/ Dy. DGFT) within 15 days of export.
Declaration is to be given on letter head of the supplier. The Declaration furnished by the supplier to Office of the Development Commissioner/Office of the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade should be in duplicate with complete address of the Jurisdictional Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of the Central Excise Division.
The export of 1,00,000 MTs of wheat to Afghanistan, as a donation from Government of India to the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan will be permitted for export through FCI. upto 31.03.2011.
S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government, with immediate effect, makes the following amendments in Notification No 66(RE – 2008)/2004-2009 dated 01.12.2008.
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following corrections in the Public Notice No. 33/(RE2010)/2009-14 dated 15.02.2011 and Public Notice No. 2/(RE2010)/2009-14 dated 23.8.2010.
Prohibition on export of milk powders(including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener and infant milk foods), Casein and Casein products – Non-application of transitional arrangement under para 1.5 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14- Notification No 25 (RE-2010)/2009-2014.
Transitional arrangements under para 1.5 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 shall not be applicable on export of milk powders(including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener and infant milk foods), Casein and Casein products under Notification No 23(RE – 2010)/2009-2014 dated 18th February, 2011.
Export of Onions (all varieties including Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions) excluding cut, sliced or broken in powder form was prohibited by Notification No.13(RE-2010)/2009-14 of 22.12.2010. This prohibition on exports was relaxed vide Notification No.19(RE-2010)/2009-14 of 10.2.2011,as per which export of Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions were placed in the “Restricted” category,to be exported under licence subject to Minimum Export Price (MEP) of US $ 1400 per Metric Ton. Modalities for issuance of export licences for such export by RAs was stipulated in Policy Circular No. 21 dated 15.02.2011. Now vide Notification No.24 (RE-2010)/2009-14 of 18.2.2011, export of all types of onion including Bangalore Rose onion and Krishnapuram onion has been allowed through the State Trading Enterprises(STEs) subject to applicable Minimum Export Price (MEP).
