The revised electronic format for both BE/SB has already been published in ICE GATE Website (https://www.icegate.gov.in/msg_guideline.html). The salient features of these changes in the format of the declarations are enumerated below for easy reference and compliance.
Export of potato, onion, rice, wheat flour and sugar has been permitted to the Republic of Maldives under bilateral trade agreement between Government of India and Government of Maldives during the period 2017-18 w.e.f. April, 2017 as per the quantities indicated in the Table at Para 1 above.

Import of Insecticides/Pesticides are subject to the provisions of Insecticides Act, 1968. As per provisions of Section 9 of Insecticide Act, 1968 , no insecticide are allowed to be imported without a valid certificate of Registration or an import permit issued by Secretary Central Insecticide Board & Registration Committee under his signature and office seal.
For the existing IEC holders, necessary changes in the system are being carried out by DGFT so that their PAN becomes their IEC. DGFT system will undertake this migration and the existing IEC holders are not required to undertake any additional exercise in this regard.
In continuance of Trade Notice No. 08/2018 dated 8th June 2017 and in furtherance of objectives stated in the said trade notice, it is decided to constitute a GST Help Desk in DGFT Headquarters to reply queries on GST related to Foreign Trade Policy.
Attention of all Importers, Customs Brokers, Members of the Trade and others is invited towards Board’s Instructions No.-06/2017 dated 02.06.2017. It has been reiterated that manual bill of entry shall be allowed to be filed in EDI locations only in exceptional and genuine cases where permitted by the Principal Commissioner/ Commissioner of Customs strictly in accordance with the legal provisions w.e.f. 15.06.2017.
