G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (A) and sub-clause (2) of clause (B) of section 68 of the Finance Act, 2006 (21 of 2006), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1^st day of May, 2006, as the date on which the provisions of the said clause and the said sub-clause of the said clause of the said Act shall come into force.
