As per twitter Handle of CMNO Maharashtra, Hon’ble CM Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray has spoken to Hon’ble FM Smt Nirmala Sitharaman to consider the postponement for the following:

1. 31/3/2020 last date to file belated return for financial year 18-19.

2. 31/3/2020 last date to file revised return for financial year 18-19.

3. 31/3/2020 last date to pay advance tax to save 234B interest.

4. 30/4/2020 last date to pay TDS of March 2020.

5. 22/3/2020 last date to file GSTR 3B (GST return for February 2020) and to waive off all the interests, fees, penalties on late compliance of the above deadlines.

    Government should also extend the PTRC(Profession tax) payment date or exempt the late payment fees ,as it’s due date is 31st March, 2020. Because of lockdown it is not possible to go out and process the payment for those whose bank is not in list on PT payment site.

    Extension should be given as early as possible so as to people will be at ease for the current situation of corona effect. Please don’t make delay … If govt wants the people of the nation to stay at home and not to mix with people this step has to be taken as early as possible…

    A great thought from CMO. Also one more recommendation.. If the financial year is extended for one more month.. As people have targets to achieve March is the most busy month.. If financial year is extended people would not be in a hurry and would probably stay at home..
