Issues on New ITD Portal – listed down – members can add other issues in comment section so that all issues can be compiled.

1. DSC not getting registered or updated

2. New Incorporated companies or Firms are not able to register themselves on ITD Portal

3. Forget password option not working

4. IT Returns in PDF can’t be downloaded

5. IT acknowledgements in PDF can’t be downloaded.

6. DIN Number not getting auto populated in new ITD website.

7. Challan Numbers not getting validated

8. No tab for VSV tab i.e. Vivad se visvas scheme  disappeared from Website.

9. Unable to file TDS Returns

10. Unable to file Form 15CA/15CB. Demanding Compulsory six digit numeric Pin code, while many country do not have Pincode, Some Countries have Alpha Numeric codes and some have less than Six Digit codes and some may have more than six digit pin codes.

11. E proceedings tab not workings

12. Grievances registered on ITD website are deleted without addressing

13. Old demands outstanding not reflected

14. Old Grievances registered not reflected

15. Unable to file Income Tax Returns for FY 2021

16. Accounts get locked, if we try to login and not able to login due to non-operatibility of site

17. Unable to raise refund reissue request

18. Unable to view Form 26AS

19. PAN  Number is not shown as valid

20. Mismatch in PAN Data is shown when technically there is no mismatch

21.JSON Utility not available

22.while filing Verification in ITR if we select ‘Self’ in capacity then Name disappeared n Shown in validation errors.

23. UDIN is also not able to update for last month audit and other certification.

24. Rectification of return options not available.

25. Return processed in March 2021 now shows under processing in view details.

26. e-verify of revised return not functioning

27. No option to add Representative Assessee in Case of private trust & no option to add legal representative.

28. Intimation u/s 143(1) not downloading.

29. Form 10A filled in draft form in the erstwhile portal is not being carried into this portal. Form 10A not available

30. There is no “save as draft” option in any of the online forms.

31. Unlike the old portal where the entire details of the previous years returns were visible in a single screen, details of previous years returns are visible only 3 at a time.

32. Instant E-PAN facility is also not working

33. Trust are not able to file re registration application, due date for which is 30.06.2021.

34. ITR Not getting verified despite correct Input of ITR OTP.

35. SFT portal also not working.

36. New ITDREIN registration for Form 61A is not functioning

37. Reporting portal redirected from website is not functioning.

38. E-proceedings tab shows under development

39. Redirection to compliance portal does not auto login

40. Bank account already validated , but portal is showing error of bank account validation while filling income tax returns

Note: As time goes these issues may get resolve. These are just observations since last few days.

    My Name in new portal is different and it as proper in old portal.
    Already changed my pan name once as per Aadhar and same updated in in old portal.
    Don’t know why its displaying incorrect data from old to new portal.
    unable to raise grievance also.

      Same issue for me. Even though I rectified my name, it shows the old name for me. In the old portal it was showing properly.

    1.At the time of login at new portal a Error: Something seems to have gone wrong while processing your request. Please try again. If error persists quote error number ITD-EXEC2002 when you contact customer care for quick resolution. plz resolve it.

      I am also getting same issue of ITD-EXEC2002 when try to change the password since my old password is not working even though I am passing it correctly. I called helpdesk but no resolution. The netbanking also is not working and the page is showing loading and loading…

    1) Login id & password is not working in offline utility to download or fetch data

    I am not able to login into new income tax portal through Bank of Maharashtra net banking. Data not prefilled. So many days passed bank account shows validation in progress or pending.

    what was the need to disable old income tax e filing portal before the new portal works satisfactorily. From 7th June’21 till today no improvement in the functioning of the new portal.

    I can’t login at all with my old password. It repeatedly says “invalid password” . Can’t proceed further. Government should go back to old portal where things were working fine. New portal has bugs and glitches at login itself. If you can’t get in, what should you do ?

    On the new portal, Form 10A for re-registration of Trust is not available and due date of 30.06.2021, has also not been extended till date.

    Login to the user profile doesn’t work. It displays an error code ITD-EXEC2002. Theres no email for customer care to send the screenshot to and if you call the helpline numbers, noone responds.

      The same error appears when logging. Customer care was contacted over phone about 7/8 days back. They told me that the glitches will be removed after sometime and to wait therefore. But nothing has been done till date.

    1. Last ten years return and ask should be made available as technically govt can reopen for 10 yrs. If it is for 16 years, it should be made available for 16 yrs.
    2. Path to 26AS not clear
    3. Not able to raise a request for 143(1) order
    4, Not able to raise grievances
    5. Whether partially filled up returns can be saved for editing later is not clear
    6. There is no log out button.
    7. To look at profile and editing the same was much easier in the old portal.
    8. New portal is neither user friendly nor improvement on old portal. Unless some employee from Infosys helps the tax payer, navigation is a night mare.
    9. Any chane should be change for better and not for worse

      Really pathetic site infosys has developed – really surprising how they are so big now … when you can show income …why you cant show / take the tan number od decuctor yourself … never eer seen such a worst site where in you cant even save your work completed …. i have sold all my infosys shares after this worst experience

    In LTCG schedule of the online ITR 2 form, ‘From sale of assets where the above are not applicable’ (corresponding to item B(9) in the print version of the form), under ‘Deductions under Section 48’, items (i) and (ii) read ‘Cost of acquisition without indexation’ and ‘Cost of improvement without indexation’, respectively.
    The correct wording should be ‘with indexation’ in each item, instead of ‘without indexation’.

    There is no ‘SAVE’ provision for the entries made on the online form ITR 2 for any schedule! So one should not attempt to fill in this form until the SAVE option is provided.

      ModiJi want to get all income captured … its not possible here in hindustan – so bad website infosys has developed t say……… so many issues to close the infosys right now ………..far better was that excel wherein people can fill after enaleing macro …. so bad site to say – so much frustrating …. lac s of individuals are wasting huge time …. really sad

    While opting for new regime even after having filed Form 10 IE Registration no And date is not getting entered in the required column. Besides no PDF data is saved and downloaded.

    The following are some of the issues I faced with the new incometax website:-

    1. When I tried to prepare the online IT Returns for the A.Y.2021-22, it displayed a message that the figures have been pre-filled as per my Form 16. However, the gross income and deduction u/s.16 shown in the system is double the actual amount of my Form 16.
    2. u/s.16(ii), Rs.1,00,000/- is shown as deduction whereas I don’t have any deduction under the section.
    3. Similarly, the details of my savings, TDS paid and the balance income tax to be paid are not at all matching with my Form 16 wherein as per the revised format of 24Q Quarterly Returns for the 4th Quarter of the F.Y.2020-21, the complete details of my income, deductions, savings, etc have been mentioned and filed by my employer and the same is reflected in Part B of my Form 16.
    4. In the old website I registered and validated for only one bank account which was done very long back & been using the same bank account but in the new website the same account is shown twice and displayed as two bank accounts.
    5. Under the Profile it displayed a message that there is mismatch of data in the profile with PAN/Aadhaar details which is not the case as the details are same since many years.
    6. When downloaded the IT Returns Utility (ITR 1) for preparing the returns in the offline mode, on clicking the 1st option of “Download Pre-filled Data”, after entering the User ID and password it displayed that “Error: Invalid password, Please retry” whereas the password is valid and with the same password I could login into the new website

    Form 10A for re-registration of Trust and Institutions are not available on the new portal. Last date being 30th June. Don’t know whether it will be extended or form be made available before that date

      It is available we have to log in from the trust account . Under Income tax forms under others we can find form 10a but it is not working properly. could not file the same either with dsc or otp received giving message SUBMISSION FAILED could not get the server response.

    As you said the Form 10A is not visible in new portal to upload the form. But the due date is 30th June to upload the form 10A. We filed form 10A in old portal and saved as draft but as you said Form 10A filled in draft form in the erstwhile portal is not being carried into this portal.

    What she does is bad for every one and ministry of finance is run by some most inefficient persons so how can they expect 100 percent correct submission after facing so many hardship and round about system with no coordination between varius institutions related with tax system , mainly the banking system . So the BJP government should look after it and remove Smt. Nirmala Sitaramn as early as possible if they want to keep continue as ruling party .

    The last date to upload the Form 10A id 30th June and portal is not showing the Form 10A.
    The earlier partially filled form 10A are also not showing any where.
    The dates need to be extended indefinately till the department is able to put its own house in order.

    At the start of filling statement of facts in Form 35, a message pops up”Invalid input” Field for filling DIN of the Order against which appeal is to be filed, is not sufficient to accommodate complete number. This 5000 crore portal is nothing but to increase the blood pressure of tax payers and professionals.

    It was announced that ITR 1, 2 and 4 are available. However it seems that ITR 2 is still not available. Further, we are unable to download offline utility for ITR 2.

    As per the media report of today, , because of the experienced glitche, the mandate of e’filing has been dispensed with and deferred till June 30.

    To one’s limited understanding, seemingly, for the referred specific glitche, the entrusted soft ware firm may not prima facie be entirely blamable, -that is, contrary to the stance reported to have been taken by the government !

    Interest on outstanding demands is being wrongly computed.

    Most of the links are going to old portal where standard message about new portal is being displayed.

    Grievances are also not being submitted even after filling all the details.

    IAM AFRAID OF EVEN TOUCHING THE NEW SITE AS I MAY LAND UP IN TROUBLE AND NOT ANLE TO CORRECT IT.

    THE GOVERNMENT WILL DO WELL TO RUN OLD SITE ALSO IN ADDITIONTO THIS SITE AND GIVE THE CHOICE TO CHOOSE TO ASSESSEES; THEN INFOSYS WILL REALISE WHAT THE ASSESSEES REALLY FEEL

    By mistake uploaded my dead wife’s photo in profile section. When I viewed it was then I realised. I logged out, looked for my photo and tried to correct it. The site was NOT showing the photo; it instructs to delete the ‘OLD’ photo to accept new one; NO METHOD IS WORKING TO DELETE THE PHOTO

    2. In 15CA/ 15CB Membership no. of CA if starts with 0 is not being accepted.

    On the Register page, after choosing the ‘Others’ option, a dropdown box appears, but on clicking on the arrow the options don’t drop down.
    Also, unable to register a new Tax Deductor on the portal who has not filed any TDS return before. The portal asks the user to go to TRACES, but even that link doesn’t work.

    When tried to register DSC, it is showing already registered whereas I have not done anything on the new site.
    In case of Professional login it is not showing date of birth & PAN in profile section and why uploading DSC it is showing PAN number is different whereas for last 10 months the same was working perfectly. Do not understand why things are being complicated.
