2. New Incorporated companies or Firms are not able to register themselves on ITD Portal

6. DIN Number not getting auto populated in new ITD website.

8. No tab for VSV tab i.e. Vivad se visvas scheme disappeared from Website.
9. Unable to file TDS Returns
10. Unable to file Form 15CA/15CB. Demanding Compulsory six digit numeric Pin code, while many country do not have Pincode, Some Countries have Alpha Numeric codes and some have less than Six Digit codes and some may have more than six digit pin codes.

Note: As time goes these issues may get resolve. These are just observations since last few days.

Pathetic web portal. After e-verification of ITR through Aadhaar OTP I got the message:
“Access Denied! Sorry! You do not have access to page. You can go back to dashboard. Click here to Go to Dashboard”

if u getting such massage then re-fill the ITR without choosing draft itr (take fresh entries). then submit.
This site works during day time from 0900 to 1500 hrs.

ITR getting submitted when start with new e filling. So avoid saved draft and start with new e filling.

Looks like profile needs to be completed to auto fill entries from other government databases (like Form 26 AS etc.). However, I can’t see what needs to be done to increase 93% profile completion to 100%.
Also, like other users, I get the “something went wrong” error and just unable to save the validated return for future everification. Will need to go through the entire process again to resubmit.
Old website and tool was FAAAR more functional. Really sad website

How to solve this issue

The date of birth on profile is incorrect. It was correct on the earlier site. It shows this is from PAN database , pls correct it there but PAN database already has the correct data. Unable to edit the date of birth. Raised grievance ticket almost one month back, no response on it yet. Any suggestions what has to be done?

Same issue here. Even though the date of birth is correct in the pre-filled json, the new “utility” shows it as one day before the actual date of birth. What stupidity? Seems like they have coded “date” as zero-indexed instead of one-indexed!!
Secondly, I find the new utility to be rubbish – requires way too many clicks. It is not user friendly at all. The older java based and excel based utilities were far better. IT guys should bring back the old site. There was nothing wrong with it (at least from a user’s perspective) – why did you guys have to ruin a perfectly working site???

But it has not affected all. If it is a coding issue it should have affected every DOB. Correct?
Also I think last month it was showing correct even the new website. If this is the case then there might be issue after filing the return. Return might be rejected for mis-match.

While submitting ITR1 message appears SOME THING WENT WRONG
TDS on income from Sources other than Salary has some records with only TAN and no other data. This is preventing submission with errors. The errors are unhelpful and indicate that the record against the TAN should be filled up. (deductor, FY, gross income, tax deducted etc). which is all unknown.
If we remove this record, the submission fails with an opaque “Something went wrong” message (deeper look at network messages shows that this shows a error saying “modified outside of utility” .
Some more contextual help will go a long way.
Tried to submit a grievance./issue. There is no place to submit this. The selection options on grievances are also very strict and did not have an option to select a general submit failure. The grievance submit hung for a very long time before failing. When it finally went through, (at least the loading gif went away) – am not sure if this was submitted or timed out…

A message like — “Something went wrong, please try later” is a sign of bad design. If there are any errors, they should be shown during validation.

ITR-4 Return for As.Yr. 21-22 filed and verified also but ITR-V e-verified by adhar opt is not generated instead a receipt is generated to be sent to Bengaluru by post.

Even there are spelling mistakes in the portal, principal contact update has spelled as “Princiapl”. So poor the quality checks and we had to entrust them for our tax requirements!
