Recently Advocate B. S. K. Rao has file an RTI Application with Office of the Commissioner of Income-Tax (CPC), Bangalore and Requests to provide details of Wrong Claims reported in Form No.3CD uploaded to e-filing website of Income-Tax Department for the Assessment Year 2013-14, in respect of return filed in ITR-4 & ITR-5.

In Response to RTI CPC has replied as under :-

“The section wise wrong claims reported in tax audit report form No3CD that relates to return filed in ITR-4 and ITR-5 uploaded to e-filing website of income tax department for the A.Y.2013-14 (Financial Year 2012-13) is not available in the e-filing portal.”

    we have already stated in my previous comments form 3CD is related to interpretation of laws. It is not a practice of accountancy.
    where assessee got audit his accounts regarding accounting entries under any law. it should be compliance under all acts. why CBDT makes polices from 3CD should be certified from CA. whenever they are not law professional & only accounting professional.

    Is it possible to get information under RTI Act about the list of assessees who used the membership number of a particular Chartered Accountant as their auditor in the ITR(for 44AB cases)?
