Government has released the draft of amendments which it will carried out in GST Constitution Bill as agreed by it during its meeting with Various Political Parties on the same. These amendments will be presented in Rajya Sabha today alongwith GST bill for consent of Members of Rajya Sabha and once passed by Rajya Sabha, the bill will go to state assemblies for further approval and 50 percent of state should consent for the same. On approval from state assemblies it will be sent to Honorable President of India for his Assent.
After the Assent of Honorable President the bill will come into force from the date which Central Government notifies in the regards by Publication of bill in Official Gazette of India. Lok Sabha has already passed the GST Bill.
