1. The last date to apply for a higher pension from the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) is fast approaching. An eligible employee can apply for a higher EPS pension till May 3, 2023.

2. The EPFO vide circular dated 23.04.2023 clarified that in cases where the submitted information is not complete or seems erroneous or any information in the application/ joint option form needs a correction request or is not found eligible, EPFO will seek information from the employers under intimation to the employees/pensioners within one month.

2.1 If complete information is received, the case shall be processed further. However, if, complete Information is not received within one month, the order will be passed on merit by the EPFO.

3. This modality of correction in online applications is not going well with the employees. If the employee realizes his mistake on submission of the application, he has no option but to wait for communication from EPFO thru the employer.

4. Now, the EPFO has enabled the feature to delete the application on the portal. The employee can delete the application and submit a fresh application before the due date of 3rd May 2023.

This feature is being used by a number of employees. They have successfully submitted the revised application and got acknowledgment also.

    pf authorities are not sure about allowing employee to re re-enter the details, as submitted details are not correct and so we requested them to delete the same. But non of pf officer is having any guidelines or instructions about checking submitted data thus they reported us.

    Dear tax gur if application already submitted but sum mistake in application so that another will be submit or not?

    1% TDS is to be deducted on the purchase of property on the money paid to the builder.
    Pl info if the builder has given a discount in the total cost of the flat then the TDS is to be given on the discount or not.
    The net payment to the builder is reduced due to the discount effect.

      I WAS RETIRED ON 28/05/2021 MY BASIC SALARY IS 27000/- AND PENSION DEDUCTION RS.15000/- 12%= RS 1800/- NOW I WILL GET MONTHLY PENSION RS. 3247/- PER MONTH

      SHALL I WILL ELIGIBLE FOR HIGHER PENSION AS PR SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT

      I have submitted Higher pension application . There are three Employers .. One of them already approved . 1. Other one is saying that I need to change some details on application but how can do that since I do not get option to delete or add ?
      2. Third one saying I did not receive the request for approval even though all details in application are correct .
      Can you please guide ?
