Conclave of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship and Public Services

Invitation to attend 2^nd Conclave of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services being organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on 24^th January 2012 at 3.30 PM, Sunville Banquets, Worli, Mumbai

We are happy to inform that ICAI has recently constituted a new Committee for Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services to encourage and enhance the participation of CA members who are into Entrepreneurship or Public Services in the Institute’s activities. The objective of the Committee is to associate members in Entrepreneurship or Public Service, to have a constant interface with ICAI and to request their association for enhancing the efficacy of ICAI work program by factoring their perspective and vision with the Institute.

You will kindly agree that one of the ways that we can continue to develop our profession to newer horizon is by sharing the vision and perspectives of professionals who are into Entrepreneurship or Public Services with the membership at large so that their tryst with various walks of public life are duly shared with Chartered Accountants fraternity. To achieve the above objective, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is organizing 2^nd Conclave of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services on 24^th January 2012 at 3.30 PM, Sunville Banquets, Worli, Mumbai. The objective of the Conclave is to solicit the suggestions of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services for restructuring the Institute’s initiatives towards this niche segment of members.

The instant communication is for the kind attention of ICAI members who are into Entrepreneurship or Public Service with a request to kindly spare some time for the above said Conclave.

You may kindly also note that the Committee is also compiling a date base of above said members who are into Entrepreneurship & Public Services. Committee has already compiled a data base of more than 150 renowned members who are into Entrepreneurship or Public Services. Conclave of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services

24^th January 2012 at 3.30 PM, Mumbai

Encouraged by the success of 1^st Conclave of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services held at New Delhi; the Committee for Members in Entrepreneurship & Public Services of ICAI is organizing 2^nd Conclave on 24^th January 2012 at Mumbai.

The objective of the Conclave is to encourage and further enhance the participation of ICAI Members in Entrepreneurship or Public Services in the Institute’s activities.

The ICAI aims at enhancing the efficacy of ICAI activities by factoring perspective and vision of the members in Entrepreneurship & Public Service.

The Conclave is open to ICAI Members who have established themselves as successful Entrepreneurs or are engaged in Public Services such as:

Members of Parliament

Members of Legislative Assembly/ Council,

Members of Local Bodies,

Judges of Supreme Court / High Court

Members of Tribunal

Members of Regulatory bodies i.e. SEBI, RBI, IRDA etc;

Civil Servant; Serving with Central / State Government.

The Conclave would provide an opportunity to the participants to have a first hand interaction with other ICAI members who have reached higher echelons and are playing a very significant role in various segments of the Society.

Your sparing of some time out of busy schedule for the Conclave will be a valuable contribution to the ICAI.
