On August 7, 2000, the Government of India issued Notification No. 30 (RE-2000) to amend the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002. The amendment revises the export shipment deadline for onions (excluding Bangalore rose onions and Krishnapuram rose onions) mentioned in previous notifications. The new deadline for shipment is set to August 31, 2000, as per the revised guidelines in Notification Nos. 11, 16, 17, and 22 (RE-2000). This change aims to provide exporters with extended time to comply with export regulations for onion varieties other than the specified exceptions.
