(i) At the time of assessment, the Group AO will give DPD instruction instead of Examination Order. (ii) At the time of assessment, the CB/Importer will produce a No Use Bond with a condition stipulated therein that all such containers cleared under DPD will be placed before jurisdictional Central Excise for examination before opening the Customs Bottle Seal of the Containers.
It has been decided to prescribe following new procedure as regards import involving High Sea Sale transactions: –i. Bill of Entry / Integrated declaration filed by the Customs Broker/Importer should contain correct and complete details of the “High Seas Sale Buyer & Seller” along with High Seas Sale Commission
Since, import of Calcium Carbide at Nhava Sheva is not allowed till amendment in Calcium Carbide Rules, 1987 and inclusion of Nhava Sheva in the specified list under Rule 10 of Calcium Carbide Rules, 1987 is likely to take time, it has been decided that no import of Calcium Carbide will be allowed through JNCH until the rules in this regard are amended.
Seaport located at Hazira (Surat) Port is included under in paragraph 4.37(a) of Hand Book of Procedures (2015-2020) for availing export promotion benefits under Chapter 4 of Foreign Trade Policy.

The provision for regulating export of non-SCOMET items having potential risk of use in or diversion to WMD/missile/military end use has been prescribed. Provision for Maintenance of Records has been prescribed. Amendments have been made in para 2.74 and para 2.81 for adherence to various Multilateral Export Control Regimes and to clarify the licensing jurisdiction of various SCOMET categories.
The earlier notified period of services export rendered between 1-4-2015 to 31-03-2016, as per the list comprising rates and conditions for rewards under the Services Exports from India Scheme (SEIS) notified vide Public Notice No. 3/2015-20 dated 1st April, 2015 as amended vide Public Notice no. 42/2015-20 dated 26.10.2015, is extended upto 31.03.2017.

Attention of all Exporters/Customs brokers/members of Trade is invited to the fact that at times errors exist in the bank account number, IFSC etc., given by exporters, which leads to rejection of claim for payment of duty drawback by the local bank authorities. Similarly, even a single such error leads to rejection of entire scroll in the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) during the processing of claims for Rebate of State Levies (RoSL).
