The Income Tax Department today launched Faceless Income Tax Appeals. Under Faceless Appeals, all Income Tax appeals will be finalised in a faceless manner under the faceless ecosystem with the exception of appeals relating to serious frauds, major tax evasion, sensitive & search matters, International tax and Black Money Act. The Working Group (WG) on Social Stock Exchange (SSE), chaired by Shri Ishaat Hussain submitted its report1 on June 01, 2020. The WG has outlined its vision and made high level recommendations which include participation of Non-profit organizations (NPOs) and For-profit enterprises (FPEs) on SSE subject to committing to minimum reporting requirements. Additionally, the WG has also recommended standardisation of financial reporting by NPOs on SSE.
