In pursuance of the decision of the GST Council a Group of Ministers Capacity based taxation and Special Composition Scheme in Certain GST has been constituted.
Keeping in view the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the representations received from various bank and non-bank entities, it has been decided to extend the timeline prescribed for compliance in respect of a few areas detailed in the Annexure.
In consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, the said limit has now been enhanced to USD 1,500 million. Further, all other regulations governing such overseas investment by eligible AIFs/VCFs shall remain unchanged.
