Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) vide notification no. G.S.R. 111(E) dated February 16, 2015 had issued the Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Rules, 2015. Pursuant to this Rules, the Company and their Statutory Auditor(s) shall comply with the Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) in preparation of their Financial Statements and the Audit respectively, in the following manner, namely:-
Form 23AC, 23AC-XBRL, 23ACA, 23ACA-XBRL, Form 20B, Form 66, Form 21A and Form 23B eForms should be filed as attachments with GNL-2 from the date of notification (to be notified later.
However, several companies have not submitted their annual report/return, audited report, balance sheet and details of profit/loss. As per data generated from MCA 21 System, following are the details of companies who have not filed their Balance Sheets and Annual Returns:-
(i) There are 2627 persons holding Directorship in more than 20 Companies in violation of Section 165 of the Companies Act, 2013. It may be mentioned this is also in violation of s. 275 of the erstwhile Companies Act, 1956. The total number of Companies involved is 77696.
