It is hereby informed that due to unavoidable circumstances the examination of Group – I, Paper – 4 – Taxation of Intermediate (IPC) Examination scheduled for 14th November – 2014 stands postponed. The said examination will now be held on 22nd November – 2014 (Saturday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

Suresh Prabhu has been appointed as our Prime Minister’s Sherpa for the G20 summit, the most significant meeting of world leaders, to be held in Brisbane from 15th November, 2014. Ministry of Corporate Affairs has amended Rules for Chapter 10 (Audit and Auditors) of the Companies Act, 2013 and Reporting on Internal Financial Control u/s 143 (3) (i) of the Companies Act, 2013 has been deferred for one year i.e., up to 31.03.2015. The auditor shall report on the existence of adequate internal financial control and its operational effectiveness for the financial years on or after 01.04.2015.The auditor may voluntarily report for the year from 01.04.2014 to 31.03.2015.
