The description of item at Sl. No. 505 of Table 1 of Appendix 37 D (FPS) under ITC(HS) Code 6402 is amended to read as “OTHER FOOTWEAR WITH OUTER SOLES AND UPPERS OF RUBBER OR PLASTICS.
This would facilitate disposal of pending requests the exporters for clubbing of advance authorisations where applications have been received upto 4.6.2012. The second para would facilitate issue of duplicate authorisation in lieu of cancelled authorisation after payment of only Rs. 200/- as additional application fee as in case of other authorisations.
The revised edition of Chapter 5 pertaining to Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme of the Hand Book of Procedure (Volume I) after harmonizing the two variants of the existing scheme shall replace the existing Procedure with immediate effect.
