Time upto 31.12.2019 has been allowed to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and State Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to finalize the modalities and complete the entire process of export of balance quantity of Red Sanders wood allocated to each entity by the DGFT against the quota permitted by CITES.
DGFT clarified that the export which are made/have been made directly from SEZ/EOU unit to Foreign Consumer on whose behalf of DTA unit wherein export documents are prepared and field at the customs office of the concerned SEZ/EOU unit, mentioning the name of SEZ/EOU unit along with the name of DTA unit on whose behalf export are made, would be eligible for MEIS.
Reference is invited to Notification No. 93 (RE-2013) dated 29.09.2014 which, inter – alia, revised the import policy for EXIM code 1005 – Maize (Corn) (1005 90 00 -Other), removing the item from the State Trading Enterprises” list to Free.
In the matter, it has been brought to the notice of this Directorate that a typographical error has occurred in the aforementioned Trade Notice as there has been an interchange in HSN Codes of Urad and Moong.
