In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the following debentures, in the nature of bonds, namely :
(i) the Industrial Development Bank of India Regular Income Bond (2002 B) of 12th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 121000001 to 121101505 under Option “A”, from 121101506 to 121108489 under Option “B”, from 121108490 to 121198017 under Option “C” and from 121198018 to 121201339 under Option “D” of the face value of Rs. 5,000 each;
(ii) the Industrial Development Bank of India Growing Interest Bond (2002 B) of 12th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 122000001 to 122075334 of the face value of Rs. 5,000 each;
(iii) the Industrial Development Bank of India Infrastructure (Tax-Saving) Bond (2002 B) 12th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 124000001 to 124216230 under Option “A” from 124216231 to 124224490 under Option “B” from 124224491 to 124369728 under Option “C” and from 124369729 to 124381549 under Option “D”, of the face value of Rs. 5,000 each; and
(iv) the Industrial Development Bank of India Retirement Bond (2002 B) of 12th Series bearing distinctive numbers from 123000001 to 123007925 under Option “A” and from 123007926 to 123009398 under Option “B”, of the face value of Rs. 5,000 each (with minimum investment of Rs. 25,000);
issued by the Industrial Development Bank of India, Mumbai, a Corporation established under section 3 of the Industrial Development Bank of India Act, 1964 (10 of 1964) in its public issue of bonds in Flexibonds-12th Series (200102), for the purposes of the said clause.
