  1. sir,
i am of the opinion that this is very good if income tax department takes & controls this initiative. only care should be taken to prevent any misuse so that no assessees are put to any loss on any count. is safety is ensured this is very welcome 7 should be implemented fast.

  2. THOSE WHO ARE FILING ITR-1 AND ITR-2, E-SIGNATURE IS USEFUL,PROVIDEDD THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY CHANGES FROM FORM-16, ISSUED BY THE EMPLOYER

ITR-4S, ASSESSES SIGNATURE IN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IN FORM V IS ABSOULUTELY NESSESSORY, BECAUSE SOMETIMES E RETURN INTERMEDIERIS ALSO CAN FILE WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDDGE OF THE ASSESSEE, WHICH WILL AFFECT THE ASSESSEE

  3. The practice of digital signature needs to be compulsorily optional. If at all it is made mandatory, the Department should provide it free to the Tax Payers (not just filers) who have e-filed for 3 or more years consecutively. Better still, it can make the signature downloadable/usable if returns are filed within the due date so as to provide an incentive to the timely filers…
