Release of four new Publications on GST by GST & IDT Committee, ICAI
We, at the GST & IDT Committee, have been continually putting in untiring efforts to facilitate all stakeholders in updating their knowledge of GST through technical publications, Virtual Certificate Course, Refresher Course and Live Webcasts etc.
We take pride in sharing with you that four new Handbooks, developed by the Committee, were released by the Honourable President, ICAI on December 23, 2020 for the benefit of all the stakeholders.

The Handbook is aimed at guiding the members on various precautions to be taken from GST perspective while finalising the books of accounts. It contains topics like Audit Approach to GST Compliances, Review of Balance Sheet, CARO & Tax Audit etc.

The Handbook attempts to cover all aspects related to liability to pay in certain cases at one place. It seeks to provide general guidance to all stakeholders in resolving issues that may arise during the course of compliances under GST.
|3||Handbook on Returns and Payments under GST – Edition Dec 2020
The Handbook aims to provide guidance to the readers on various GST returns and provisions relating to payments under GST. The various returns have been analysed in detail in the Handbook with the help of flowcharts, diagrams, illustrations etc. to facilitate enhanced comprehension.
|4||Practical FAQs under GST – Edition Dec 2020
This Handbook addresses 503 practical queries received during various webcasts organised by the Committee. The queries relate to range of topics like concept of supply, levy of GST, nature and place of supply, input tax credit, time and value of supply, reverse charge mechanism, interest, late fee, penalty etc.
We take this opportunity to inform you that this year apart from the above four new Handbooks, the Committee has released seventeen more publications on various aspects of GST as also revised the Background Material on GST and Compliance of GST in Banking Sector.
