Subject: Details of new application uploaded in the DVAT Server.
During the last fortnight (2nd half of the month November 2014), the following new application were uploaded in the DVAT Server:
1. List of Composition Dealers (for dealers/department)
In the main DVAT webpage, a separate COMPOSITION DEALER hyperlink has been made available under the head VERIFICATION to check composition status of the dealer.
2. Enrollment of VAT Practitioner (for Vat Practitioner applicants)
The procedure for getting enrollment of VAT Practitioner has been made online. The applicant can furnish the online application for applying for the enrollment of VAT Practitioner: The provisions for making online fees and intimating the Form DVAT-49 to the registered mail Id-have also been made. Presently, the link for the same is available in ‘What’s new’.
3. Updation of Annexture 2A for downloading of Statutory Forms for the year 2012-13 (for dealer)
The facility already provided to the dealers for updating/rectifying the details’ of central purchases in Annexure 2A for the year 2012-13 as per the details furnished in the returns, necessitated for downloading of the central forms has been made more user friendly. Now dealers can update their central purchases irrespective of the type of the central sales, upto the net amount of central purchases declared in the return.
4. Filing of DVAT 21 (for dealer)
The provision has been made available to the dealers, to claim the refund in Form DVAT-21 in respect of the cases where depart Y lent has assessed that dealer has deposited the excess tax.
5. Acknowledgement of Mail/SMS (for dealer)
The department has improvised the SMS alert, being sent to the dealer regarding the acknowledgment of viewing the online notice /order at dealer login, by mentioning the TIN in the SMS alert text.
6. Online Amendment (for Dealer/department)
The department has improvised the online amendment module, whereby all the amendment except amendment regarding the change of constitution, authorized signatory and principal place of business premises have been made as auto-amendment. In respect of change of constitution and authorized signatory, the dealer shall submit the relevant supporting documents for the proposed amendment to the ward concerned. Ward concerned shall acknowledge-the receipt of the documents furnished and examine the case. Further, in case of the change of principal place of business premises, the amendment shall be made effective after the field verification of the VAT inspector.
7. Mismatch report in case of rectification cases (for dealer)
In respect of mismatch demands of the tax period whose return revision has become time barred, and whose’ objection is decided by Special Objection Hearing Authorities, for administrative. purpose the mismatch report shall be hidden at dealer login.
8. Registration Certificate (for dealer)
The department has started to send the Form DVAT 06/Form B (Registration Certificates) directly on the login Id of the dealer, after the same is approved by the ward incharge. The dealer/authorized representative can obtain the signed hardcopy of, its registration certificate from the ward incharge. The facility of sending digitally Signed certificates shall be made available shortly.
9. Migration of the Form DVAT-43 data (for dealer/department)
The department has improvised for providing the instantaneous migration of form DVAT-43 data of the dealer to the respective ward in charge in real time basic.
