Notification No. 17/2003-Central Excise

 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of 1957), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely:-

1.

No. 261/87-Central Excise, dated the 9th December, 1987, G.S.R. 970 (E), dated the 9th December, 1987,

2.

No. 10/98-Central Excise, dated the 2nd June, 1998, G.S.R. 305 (E), dated the 2nd June, 1998,

3.

No. 41/99-Central Excise, dated the 26th November, 1999, G.S.R. 787 (E), dated the 26th November, 1999,

4.

No. 13/2000-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2000, G.S.R. 191 (E), dated the 1stMarch 2000,

5.

No. 10/2002-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2002, G.S.R. 131 (E), dated the 1st March, 2002, and

6.

No. 17/2002-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2002, G.S.R. 138 (E), dated the 1st March, 2002.
